User Safety Policy And Community Guidelines

Our aim is to have the Service be a safe resource for our Users and for Users to be treated at all times with respect and dignity. This User Safety Policy and Community Guidelines (the “Safety Policy”) lays out our policies with respect to user safety and community guidelines which are intended to achieve our fundamental goals. This Safety Policy covers several topics including general safety, harassment, reporting of child abuse, elder abuse, vulnerable adult abuse, domestic violence, suicide and self-harm, and criminal activity, and guidelines governing the interactions between Users.By using the Service, you hereby agree to this Safety Policy. Please also refer to our Terms of Service, which are incorporated as if fully recited herein. Terms defined in the Terms of Service that are not defined herein shall have the same definition as in the Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between this Safety Policy and any other user policy of SyncHealth, including such Terms of Service, the provisions of the other policy shall control.This Safety Policy is subject to change. If this Safety Policy changes, we will let you know by posting the revised Safety Policy on the Service and/or otherwise making you aware of the changes. Your continued use of the Service following our notice of changes to this Safety Policy (or other acceptance method) means you accept such changes. Please refer to the “Last updated” date above to see when this Safety Policy was last updated.
General SafetyUser anonymity is important to us. We identify Users to other Users on the Service only by their avatars and/or randomly-generated username selected by the User. Users agree to not identify themselves or others, in any manner, including by publicly providing personal information of themselves or others or their employer or clients, on the Service. We may monitor for any such disclosures on the Service, and reserve the absolute right to delete such information and suspend or ban Users from the Service if they make such public disclosures.
HarassmentUsers should be free from harassment on the Service. Users agree to not engage in any activity, including posting or communicating any content or information on the Service, that is harassing, threatening, bullying, stalking or abusive towards other Users. We may monitor for any such activity on the Service, and reserve the absolute right to delete such information and suspend or ban Users from the Service if they engage in such activities.
ReportingOur aim is for your use of the Service and communications on the Service to remain confidential. However, there are circumstances where our concern for the safety of our Users and the public may be more important. In those limited circumstances, we may need to report those circumstances, your contact information, and possibly other personal information to the proper authorities, which may include police or emergency medical services. We will only report in this manner where you are at risk of death or serious injury as a result of your activities according to the information you provide on the Service, you are at risk of death or serious injury as a result of the activities of someone else according to the information you provide on the Service, or someone else is at risk of death or serious injury as a result of your activities according to the information you provide on the Service. We may disclose your personal information in accordance with this provision.
Suicide and Self-Harm
If you are thinking about suicide or self-harm, you should immediately call 911 and notify emergency services. Medical Emergency; Other EmergencyIf you feel that you may be a danger to others or if you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should immediately call 911 and notify emergency services. We may report any such incidents in accordance with the above.
Community GuidelinesIn addition to the use restrictions described herein and in our Terms of Service, all Users agree to:Be kind, supportive and respectful towards other Users. Users should at all times seek to be kind, supportive and respectful of other Users. Users should try to have positive interactions with Users.Users should be open to sharing. Users are encouraged to share best practices related to the topics covered in the Service, however users should refrain from providing clinical advice unless they are licensed and certified to do so.Maintain the confidentiality of the Service. Users should not share User personal information or the content of communications on the Service. This includes both the personal information of other Users and the User themselves and identifiable information about their employer or clients.Not engage in harassment, stalking, or other abusive activities. Users should not engage in harassment, stalking, or other abusive activities on the Service.We may monitor for any violations of these community guidelines on the Service, and reserve the absolute right to suspend or ban Users from the Service for such violations.
